About Healthy Vision Center

An independent publication about eye and vision health, written for people who want the research explained without the hype.

Why this site exists

Vision health is one of the noisiest corners of the wellness market. Products promise restored eyesight, and the studies behind those promises are usually smaller, narrower or more cautious than the marketing suggests. We read the underlying research and report what it actually supports.

Who writes it

Articles are produced by the Healthy Vision Center editorial team: health writers who work from peer-reviewed literature and published clinical guidance from bodies such as the National Eye Institute and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. We are writers and researchers, not your clinicians, and we say so on every article.

How we are funded

We earn affiliate commissions when readers purchase through some outbound links, and we run paid advertising to bring readers to our articles. We do not sell, manufacture, ship or bill for any product mentioned on this site. Advertisers and merchants have no input into our coverage or conclusions.

What we will never publish

  • Claims that a supplement cures, treats or prevents an eye disease
  • Promises to restore lost vision or eliminate the need for glasses or surgery
  • Before-and-after imagery implying a guaranteed outcome
  • Fake countdown timers, invented scarcity or fabricated testimonials
  • Content that implies knowledge of a reader's personal health condition

Corrections

If you find an error, email support@healthyvisioncenter.com. We correct factual mistakes promptly and note the update date at the top of each article.
