Sourcing

• We prioritise randomized controlled trials, systematic reviews and guidance from recognised bodies over single observational studies or press releases.
• Every health claim in an article traces back to a named source listed at the end of the piece.
• Where evidence is preliminary, mixed or drawn from a narrow population, the article says so in the body text rather than in a footnote.

Claim standards

• No article states or implies that a supplement cures, treats or prevents a disease.
• We do not present individual testimonials as typical results, and we do not use imagery that implies a guaranteed outcome.
• We do not use language that assumes a reader has a particular medical condition, and we do not target advertising on the basis of inferred health status.
• Risk, interaction and safety information appears alongside any discussion of a nutrient, not separately from it.

Commercial independence

Affiliate relationships and advertising fund this site. They do not decide what we cover. Writers are not compensated based on product sales, and no merchant reviews an article before publication.

Updates and corrections

Each article shows a published and an updated date. We review articles periodically and when relevant new evidence appears. Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed; substantive corrections are noted in the article. Report an issue to support@healthyvisioncenter.com.
